Upload main image here:        | Moritz Volz has signed a season-long loan deal with Ipswich Town. The 25-year-old completed a medical at Portman Road this afternoon. Ipswich boss Jim Magilton told the official club website how pleased he was to sign the former German Under-21 international. "We´re delighted Moritz has joined us. He will be in the squad for Saturday´s game against Watford," Magilton said. "He´s a top professional who has spent his career in England playing at Premier League level. He believes he is a Premier League player. I believe that as well so we have got a very good player on our hands. "He will add some extra quality to the squad and is another step towards taking us where we want to be." Volzy found games hard to come by at Fulham last year and will be glad to get back to first-team football. He made 144 appearances for Fulham since joining from Arsenal in 2003.    |
