LuaLua scores winner for DR Congo

Upload main image here:
Lomana LuaLua sealed victory for the Democratic Republic of Congo in last night´s friendly against Togo. Emmanuel Adebayor opened the scoring in the 47th minute, but the DRC levelled just two minutes later through Cedric Makiadi.

Lomana´s winner came in the 68th minute. The goal will have proved particularly satisfying for the Leopards´ captain as the match marked his international return following his ruptured appendix.

The match was played at the Vieux-Pre stadium in Paris. It was a promising result for Patrice Neveu´s side ahead of their World Cup/African Nations Cup qualifier against Egypt in Kinshasa on September 7.

Gabriel Zakuani was called up to the squad but did not start the match.
