The former Everton striker is suffering from a thigh strain and will not travel with the rest of the squad to the KC Stadium to take on Hull. But Hodgson is confident that Andrew will return for next week´s clash against Arsenal. He told the club´s official website: "Andy Johnson will not be able to feature because he had a thigh strain when he came to the club and we don´t want to take the risk with that. "It´s a little bit early but I´m pretty sure he will be able to play against Arsenal the following week. Everyone else fortunately is fit and well and I have a full squad to choose from." The Cottagers manager also admits that his side could face a tough test against Phil Brown´s men tomorrow. He added: "We are preparing for a very tough game and we know that even though Hull might not be tipped for the top places, we are fully aware that they are firing on all cylinders. We´ll have to be at our best." ![]() ![]() ![]() |
