If we do that we´ll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. Colchester had a bit of experience in the Championship last year so I´m sure they´ll move up the table. They´ve got a new manager in as well so they´ll be bubbling. I´ve played against Colchester´s Clive Platt before. He was a bit of a handful, so he stands out for me. But their other regular goalscorer, Kevin Lisbie, has gone to Ipswich, so maybe the onus is on Clive to get more goals now. It´s a big game for me as well because the assistant there Ian Culverhouse was my youth team coach at Leyton Orient. It´ll be nice to catch with him. Seems like it´s Orient old boys reunions every week at the moment![]() Seems like it´s Orient old boys reunions every week at the moment. I managed to catch up with Donny Barnard who I know from my Leyton Orient days after the FA Cup game against Hornchurch. He wasn´t as bubbly as he used to be then because he really wanted to win this one! When you play non-league sides they want to be in your shoes. They want to show they should have been where you are. They always have a lot to prove, and they use a lot of intimidation tactics. But if you just keep to doing what you do, you should really beat them. Our fitness told in the end – they couldn’t keep up. We had a hard game against Yeovil last weekend in the league. They put us under a lot of pressure. But we defended very well, kept the clean sheet, and kept the run going. ![]() ![]() - 22 Nov 2008 21:06 Write your comment here...Well played again Gaby! You got my man of the match award. Platt looked huge. Another game unbeaten. Good luck v Swindon! :-) ![]() |
