It´s not too far from the ground and it´s near a few of the other players, which is good. It means I’ve got people to show me around and people to talk to when I´m not at football – otherwise I’d be really bored! All the players have been really good. Micah Hyde and I are rooming together. He gets to have the remote cos he’s older than me! It’s always hard to get used to new players and a new environment. But now I’ve settled in I feel like I’ve been here all my life. Everyone gets on well. The whole team’s really young. I’m only 22 and I think I’m one of the oldest in the team. We do little keep-ball sessions in circles in training and I realised I was the oldest in my group of eight players, which is a new experience for me at 22. So I’ve had to open up a lot more, be a bit more vocal, because the team relies on me a bit more than I have been before. That extra responsibility is a very good thing. I think it’s brought my game on. Craig Morgan does all the passing and leaves all the dirty work to me! ![]() A few people have said how well Craig Morgan and I have clicked in central defence. We do complement each other. We’ve both got different skills. When we put it together on a Saturday it seems to be working. We’ve had four straight clean sheets in the last four home games. We know that if we keep a clean sheet we’ve got players up front who’ll score goals for fun. I’m more of an in-your-face kind of defender. Craig is calmer. He does all the passing and leaves all the dirty work to me! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
